Today I will share all the biryani recipes with mutton. My list includes simple Mutton Biryani recipes with Mutton Chops. Spicy Mutton Biryani recipe and Sindhi Mutton Biryani recipes will also be shared in this list.

Ingredients

  1. Mutton chops  1kg
  2. Basmati rice       1kg
  3. Tomato Paste    1 cup
  4. Boiled tomatoes   4
  5. Onions                 3
  6. Green Pepper     as per taste
  7. White Cumin      1 teaspoon
  8. Ginger Garlic Paste  2 tablespoons
  9. Yogurt                 1 Cup
  10. Kalonji(Nigella Seeds)               ½ teaspoon
  11. Cardamoms           2
  12. Cinnamon Powder   2 tablespoon
  13. Ghee/Oil                 ½ cup
  14. Yakni (Soup)     as required
  15. Lemon color as required

 

Method:

  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry onion till golden, and take it out on a plate.
  • Now add ginger, garlic, cumin, cardamom, and cinnamon in half the oil and fry it well. Add yogurt and tomato and fry it well.
  • Then add green chilies, rice, and water and let it boil.
  • Layer the rice in a saucepan, then add fried onion, minced meat, ginger, garlic and salt.
  • Boil the Mutton chops beforehand and fry it in hot oil. Layer it too and put it on the dam for 5-10 minutes on low flame.
  • Delicious Mutton biryani is ready.

 

 

Spicy Mutton Biryani

Ingredients:

  1. Mutton (Goat meat)   1 kg
  2. Rice                              1kg
  3. Oil                             1cup
  4. Garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  5. Ginger paste 1 tablespoon
  6. Coriander powder 2 tablespoon
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Onions Sliced             2
  9. Yogurt   1 cup
  10. Hot spice powder (Garam Masala)    1 teaspoon
  11. Red chili powder            2 teaspoon
  12. Cinnamon 3 pieces
  13. Living number six
  14. Black pepper 10 pieces
  15. Black Cardamoms 2
  16. Nutmeg        1 small piece
  17. Jawtri    3 small pieces
  18. Green Cardamoms 4
  19. Green Chilies      6
  20. Tomato             2
  21. Saffron              1 teaspoon
  22. Warm Milk         6 tablespoon
  23. Potatoes              3

 

METHOD

  • Heat oil in a pan, add onion, and fry till brown, then take it out and keep it aside.
  • Now in the same oil, add 2 pieces of cinnamon, 2 pieces of small cardamom, 3 cloves, 5 pieces of black pepper, 1 piece of large cardamom, 1 piece of jawtri and a little nutmeg and stir.
  • Then add mutton, garlic paste, ginger paste, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt and fry the meat till the water dries.
  • Then add coriander, yogurt, potatoes, and browned onions in it. After the meat is properly cooked, add hot spice powder (garam masala) and keep it on the dam for 5 minutes. (on low flam)
  • Put rice in another pan and add cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, black cardamom, nutmeg, jawetri, green cardamom, and salt and boil till it becomes smooth.
  • Then drain the water and keep the rice aside.
  • Soak saffron in hot milk and set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, put a layer of boiled rice, add the prepared meat mixture, tomatoes, green chilies, and green coriander, add the rest of the rice and finally sprinkle saffron.
  • Put it on low flame for a dam for 5-10 minutes
  • Delicious mutton spicy biryani is ready.  Take out in a serving dish and serve hot with raita.

Sindhi Mutton Biryani Recipe

Cooking time: 25 minutes

Servings:        5 people

Ingredients -

 

  1. Mutton 1 kg
  2. Rice         1 Kg
  3. Potatoes  ½ kg
  4. Oil               2 tablespoon
  5. Salt to taste
  6. All Spices Powder 2 tablespoon
  7. Dried Plum         3 pieces
  8. Cinnamon     3 pieces
  9. Yogurt           1 cup
  10. Cardamoms      4
  11. Red Chili Powder 1 ½ tablespoon
  12.  Turmeric Powder   1 tablespoon
  13.  Nutmeg Jawtri          1 teaspoon
  14. Ginger Garlic Paste     2 tablespoon
  15. Onion Sliced              ½ cup

 

Method

  • Heat oil in a saucepan. Then add onion and fry till light golden.
  • Add ginger, garlic paste, and meat and fry.
  • Add all the spices and water and let the meat cook.
  • Cut the potatoes and add.
  • Boil the rice in another pan.
  • When the meat is properly cooked, then add one layer of rice and put another layer of mutton.
  • On low flame, cook it for another 5-10 minutes.
  • Delicious Sindhi mutton biryani is ready to serve.
