Black Forest Cake
The Black Forest Cake has the German name "Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte." Another name for black forest cake is " Black Forest Gâteau." It is a very popular German cake and is usually made up of chocolate with layers of cherries inside it. Whipped cream is spread on the top layers. It is a delicious and easy recipe to try at home. I am sharing the perfect recipe for Kokab Khawaja.
Ingredients: -
- Flour (maida) 3/4 cup
- Eggs 3
- Sugar 4 tablespoon
- Cocoa powder 1 tablespoon
- Lukewarm water 1 tablespoon
Method: -
- Pre-heat oven to 160 degrees.
- Beat the sugar and eggs until fluffy.
- Now take flour and cocoa powder in a bowl.
- Mix the dry mixture with the wet mixture. Add lukewarm water slowly. Do it with soft hands.
- Now spread butter paper inside the 5' (inches) cake mold.
- Pour the mixture into the mold and bake it in a pre-heated oven for 25 minutes.
Cocoa Sauce: -
- First of all, to make the cocoa sauce, mix 2 tablespoons of sugar in 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder. Now add half a cup of water and cook it on low flame until it becomes thick.
- Cut the cake from the middle into 2 halves.
- Beat the fresh cream (with a pinch of cocoa powder) until it's whipped. Now add cherries to this whipped cream.
- Spread this mixture between cakes as a filling. Now pour the cocoa sauce all over the cake.
- Decorate it with fresh cherries on top.
- Keep it in the freezer for 1 hour and serve chilled.
- Delicious black forest cake is ready to eat. 😊
